Manuscript Submission
Authors submit manuscripts through the Urbani izziv online submission system. Submission is available from the journal website and provides detailed author instructions, a streamlined workflow, and status tracking for submitted manuscripts.
Before You Submit
- Prepare the manuscript, abstract, keywords, and author metadata
- Ensure figures, tables, and supplementary files are ready for review and publication
- Confirm originality and ethical compliance
- Check that the paper fits the journal's spatial planning orientation
- Prepare the manuscript for double-blind peer review
Citation Style
If you use Zotero, Mendeley, EndNote, or another citation manager, you can import the Urbani izziv citation styles. English and Slovenian versions are available in one ZIP file.
Even with citation software, please check references manually before submission to ensure they follow the journal rules.
Peer Review
The peer-review process is anonymous. Authors are notified of results within three months of submission. Peer reviewers of research and technical articles are members of the international editorial board and other experts in the relevant field.
Fees and Ordering
Submission is free of charge. The article processing charge is 500 EUR and is charged only after acceptance. Print subscriptions and single-issue orders are available separately.
